The Golden son of India and the unparalleled inspiration for millions of young talents, Neeraj Chopra who has announced recently that he will not be taking part in the upcoming event ‘Asian Athletics Championships’ scheduled between 27-31 May 2025 in South Korea. Fans of Neeraj are quite stunned to hear this but the clear statement of his decodes that it is a well planned strategic move for an intense practice for the other global events.

To focus more on the global events including ‘Diamond League Circuit’, ‘Olympics’ and ‘World Athletics Championships’ Neeraj has officially decided to skip this Asian Championships event. So, the 2025 season of Neeraj will begin with the Doha Diamond  League scheduled on 16 May 2025 and the inauguration function of an international javelin event organized by Neeraj Chopra himself which will kick off this 24 May 2025 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. 

By opting out of the Asian Championships, we can clearly see that Chopra is prioritizing his fitness and form for longevity & exhibit his top performances in more international competitions.
