Genre blending K-POP artist Jackson Wang from the Korean band GOT7 and the Punjabi Icon Diljith Dosanjh are joining hands for an interesting single ‘Buck’. Set to release on 9 May 2025, the east to east collaboration comes as a pleasant surprise for the growing K-POP fanbase and the fans of the versatile Indian singer.
‘Buck’ is expected to be a cool mix up of Korean pop and the peppy Punjabi music, a blend of diverse music and culture from the eastern part of the world. Wang is known for his solo hits like ‘100 Ways’, ‘Blow’ surging millions of fans for his R&B and Hip-Hop style of music while Diljith Dosanjh
is just returning from his grand Coachella debut and the renowned world tour, making this combo we never saw hitting but most welcome.

The single is said to be a genre defying piece of music that will blend in the culture, style and even fanbases who all will be served an unexpected mix of best of both worlds. While Korean music has taken over a refreshing set of audiences and fabulous collaborations, ‘Buck’ is expected to be groundbreaking in showcasing a visual and sonic treat putting forth the Asian Music Genres on a higher, larger platform.
Jackson Wang has already been to India in 2023 and is expected to make his second visit now for the release of ‘Buck’ on 10 May. Sources according to Filmfare reveal that, “This collaboration was born out of mutual admiration and was facilitated by Kamal Shah, a Singapore-based associate of Jackson, and Bunty Bahl, a respected name in the Indian music and film industry.”
