An interesting combo as actor Silambarasan was called in for his next project under Vetrimaaran’s direction. While the news is not unheard as many industry trackers sniffed the rumours, getting an official confirmation cements the project.
The director also revealed that this movie with Silambarasan will not be a sequel to ‘Vada Chennai’ but will be in the same universe and timeline. The story of the upcoming film will be set parallely to the Vada Chennai plot, making this Vetrimaaran’s first infusing story ever. While fans have been waiting for years for Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vaadivaasal’ since its first teaser was announced nearly two years back, the project seems to be taking the back burner with several hurdles in production.
