It is clear that Ahaan Panday’s character of Krish is an ambitious musician who wants everything that comes with popularity, the fans, their love, a relationship and the rage that consumes him and his closed ones. The plot falls similar to ‘Aashiqui 2’ starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor with Aneet Padda playing the shy, vulnerable talent who directs the troubled musical prodigy into a good path.
Trailer of ‘Saiyaara’ begins with Ahaan Panday’s character calling out the misuse and partiality of nepotism in the music industry and beating what seems to be a talent agent while Aneet Padda’s character who is naive and opinionated joins the singer as a songwriter and thus the duo fall in love.
Mohit Suri has been candid in his thought process behind ‘Saiyaara’ and even told the media that he might have not made the movie if not for the perfect leads. “I didn’t come across debutants with acting calibre”, Suri admits while he draws his satisfaction in finding both the debutantes living up to his expectations.
He also added, “I wouldn’t have made Saiyaara if I hadn’t found formidable actors like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. I was honestly thinking about making something else before my path crossed with Yash Raj Films, which was looking for a young love story and was grooming Ahaan and Aneet to star in such a film.”
A timeless story of tormented love interests, heartbreaks, a smitten rockstar serves all the yearning and affection fans want to see in a film. ‘Saiyaara’ has already been voted as the most interested movie in Bookmyshow among other multi million dollar projects.
With Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri’s collaboration proven successful, ‘Saiyaara’ is releasing in the big screen on 18 July 2025.
