Mitchell Starc’s five-wicket haul within 15 balls and Scott Boland’s climax hat-trick bowled over the West Indian side for the second lowest Test total ever in Test Cricket History. The Kingston game had the potential to become the lowest ever total, but missed it by one run, from a misfield.
Starc, who was playing in his 100th Test match, took an impressive 6-9, including a five-wicket haul in 15 balls. With the record breaking spell, Starc zoomed past the 400 wickets mark in the long format while also recording the fastest five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
The visitors won the series 3-0 with Scott Boland also registering an impressive hat-trick. A disappointing series for the hosts who were underperforming the entire series. Yet there is one game in 1955 where the entire total was 26 and bowled out in 27 overs, here are some of the lowest recorded totals.
