An exclusive NDTV report learned that the police have surged convincing evidence and logs indicating buying and usage of Cocaine between Actor Srikanth and a Bengaluru supplier. A senior officer told NDTV the following, “Evidence includes chat records, financial transfers, and phone data that establish a clear pattern of contact with drug suppliers”.
The police are also said to be investigating the digital money transaction trail and find out Srikanth’s link to any known actors in the Tamil cinema industry or any cartel operation within or outside of Tamil Nadu.

The arrest of two Ghana nationals named Pradeep and John linked a broader drug case that led to actor Srikanth. The Ghana nationals pointed at Prasad, a former AIADMK member who was booked for creating ruckus in a pub in Chennai. He then revealed the involvement of Srikanth multiple times during the investigation and among other suspects.
While Tamil Nadu police are repeatedly confirming that the state remains to be free of any narcotics production, the increasing case of illegal drug trade and usage is spiking leading to a concern.
