13 Years after the release of the celebrated Romantic Drama that had the classiest trio ‘Cocktail’ is back with a much anticipated sequel. The second edition of the movie will have a new trio as director Homie Adjania is back directing the sequel. ‘Cocktail 2’ will have Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon और Rashmika Mandanna playing the infamous trio.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were last seen in the 2024 release ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. Now the successful pair will be working for the second time while Rashmika Mandanna is spreading her wings in Bollywood.
Cocktail 2 in the making
Fans were given the first official tease of the making of ‘Cocktail 2’ after celebrity stylist and the wife of Homie Adajania posted a story of a cocktail glass placed on top of the script of Cocktail 2. The story was immediately shared by many, confirming the return of one of the most beloved Rom-Coms in Hindi.
Many fans and trackers have tied up actress Kriti Sanon’s visit to Maddock Films office recently to her inclusion in ‘Cocktail 2’. Other sources have confirmed that Kriti Sanon has wrapped the shooting of ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ and will be filming for ‘Cocktail 2’ from August.
While not much is revealed about the upcoming sequel, it certainly has caught the excitement of fans and audience. The original ‘Cocktail’ which was released in 2012 had Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty starring in the much loved drama that spoke about friendship, love, love triangle and placed Deepika as a standout performance.
