Divyanshi Bhowmick, the Table Tennis prodigy makes waves after her stellar win against Asia’s finest Liu Ziling as she also registered a historic ‘Gold’ win for India after 36 years. Her finesse in taking on tough opponents makes her a fearsome competitor and a Table Tennis star from India.
Divyanshi’s Gold win after Bhuvaneshwari Subramaniam is the first in 36 years in the Under-15 girl’s singles crown at the Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships. The youngster is a certified winner of the game while also panics like any other teenage student thinking about her Boards.
“Yes, I think hearing that makes me feel really scared and nervous because I have to give my boards this year, I’m a little nervous for my boards, but I’m gonna study harder”, Bhowmick told Times of India after her win against the Chinese player as 6-9 and taking on three Chinese opponents.
Currently Divyanshi is ranked World No. 3 in Under-15 and she will next play in Romania in November and also represent India at the World Youth Table Tennis Championships.
