ICC Women’s T20 WC Global Qualifier Route: Explained 

The 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is getting ready to warmly welcome the twelve teams who arrive after being qualified to enter the international stage officially. Eight teams have already secured their spots in it and the other teams will have to compete for the four spots that are yet to be filled. For which the ICC has segregated the teams who are participating in the Asia qualifier into three – Group A, Group B, and Group C.

• Group A – Bhutan, Kuwait, Thailand
• Group B – Malaysia, Qatar, UAE
• Group C – Bahrain, Hong Kong China, Nepal

These qualifier matches will be hosted by Thailand and the venues are Terdthai Cricket Ground and the Asian Institute of Technology Ground in Bangkok. The format of their qualification is briefly explained by the ICC itself.

• The nine teams are divided into three groups
• Each team will encounter square off with the two teams in the group
• The topper of the each group will be qualified to take part in ‘Super 3 Stage’
• And the top two from this stage will enter into the ‘Global Qualifier’ 
• The Global Qualifier will have – Bangladesh, Scotland, USA, Africa 1, Africa 2, Asia 1, Asia 2, EAP (East Pacific) 1, Europe 1, and Europe 2.
