Actor and Model, Mukul Dev was spotted and launched into the limelight by Amitabh Bacchan’s talent agency in the 90s. Known for his versatile talents as an actor who was seen in Television shows, soaps and supporting roles in movies has sadly passed away at the age of 54 in Mumbai.
Mukul Dev was actor and model Rahul Dev’s brother is known for titles such as ‘Son of Sardaar’, ‘R Rajkumar’. Rahul Dev revealed about his brother’s demise with a story that read, “”Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully in New Delhi last night. He is survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Please join us for cremation at 5 PM.”
Born in a Punjabi Family, Mukul Dev also did modelling like his brother and was also a trained pilot who had his film breakthrough in Dastak (1996) alongside Sushmitha Sen on her debut and talents like Manoj Bajpayee.
He also starred in Television shows like ‘Mumkin’ ‘Ek Se BadhKar Ek’ and more. While he has several film titles like ‘Wajood’, ‘Shareek 1 and 2’, ‘Mere Do Anmol Ratan’ and many.
Actor and former Co-star Manoj Bajpayee shared his grief through a social media post that read, ““It’s impossible to put into words what I’m feeling. Mukul was a brother in spirit, an artist whose warmth and passion were unmatched. Gone too soon, too young. Praying for strength and healing for his family and everyone grieving this loss. Miss you meri jaan…until we meet again, Om Shanti. 🙏🏼”.
Actress Sushmitha Sen also took it to her instagram saying, “Rest in Peace you Wonderful Soul” sharing a picture of the actor.
