The Golden Star Neeraj Chopra finishes in 2nd Position in Poland

It was quite a disappointing tour for Neeraj Chopra, the world-class javelin thrower of India in Janusz Kusocinski Memorial Athletics Meet.

Challenging cold and wet weather at the Silesian Stadium is one of the biggest hurdles that could marr an individual’s game. But the golden star of Indian Athletics, Neeraj Chopra successfully finished off his game at the second position in Janusz Kusocinski Memorial Athletics Meet which was held in Chorzow, Poland. Battling all the odds he saved his best for the last and registered by throwing 84.14 meters in the final and sixth attempt of his. Further it pushed him ahead in the position from third to the second.

Throughout the tour, the spectators witnessed the trademark and an inspiring grit and composure of Neeraj under pressure. In just a few inches of difference the top spot slipped away from Neeraj and secured by Germany’s Julian Weber who led the field with the first round of throw of 86.12 meters.
