Highlights of First Day Visit
- Prime Minister Modi and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman co-chaired for the second meeting of the India-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council.
- India and Saudi Arabia signed six MoUs on various sectors which includes – Space, Energy, Healthcare, Scientific Research, Culture, and Emerging Technologies.
- PM Modi addressed the challenges of Indian pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage and enforced the need for smoother arrangements after delays which threatened the travel plans of around 42,000 pilgrims.
- The Prime Minister’s interaction with the Indian community took place.
- The two day visit emphasized the expansion of the two nation’s cooperation in trade, investment, and defense.
