‘Coolie’ is having an all guns blazing start with pre-booking sales hiking to new heights, nearing its release. Starring Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Shoubin Shahir and Sruthi Hassan in the prominent roles, the movie is not only one of the most anticipated movies of the year, it is also going up against big production movies.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Coolie’ will be facing off ‘War 2’ starring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, Kiara Advani and is stretching the sequel of the hit action spy franchise. The mega clash has been brewing from the day the release dates were announced.
The film has already off to a great start with $291,400 which is 2.5 Crores in 181 locations and 483 shows across the US in the advance ticket bookings. Over 10,000 tickets have been sold in the country apart from the 40k+ bookings for the Telugu booking.
The opening day predictions for Coolie is also sky high with many trackers and data sites projecting a 100 Crore opening Box Office Collection for the movie. Just like any other Thalaivar opener, ‘Coolie’ will be having a grand first day with fans from all over the world flooding the theatres, house full shows awaiting for additional ones, the tradition is expected to be continued given the promising filmography of Lokesh Kanagaraj and the cast spectacle.
