Tamil music director Sai Abhyankkar is quickly making a name for himself after a jump from indie music. With over half a dozen projects lined up in Tamil, he is now making his debut in Malayalam Cinema.
Sai Abhyankkar’s ‘Katchi Sera’ became his visiting card and his career is all on the high scoop since then. The young talent is now making his debut in Malayalam Cinema with Shane Nigam starrer ‘Balti’ movie. The announcement video was dropped on Friday with the makers welcoming the music composer with a special video that has the legendary Mohanlal welcoming Sai Abhyankkar to the Malayalam Cinema.
Think Music India posted the video that has Sai Abhyankkar playing piano when he is delivered a parcel that has a special jersey with his name from actor Mohanlal. ‘Balti’ is written and directed by Unni Sivalingam and has Shane Nigam in the leading role.
‘Balti’ is releasing for Onam 2025 and the makers have announced the title glimpse only a few weeks back that has Shane Nigam playing the role of a Kabbadi player Udhayan who is a rogue and everything hype. ‘Balti’ marks the actor’s 25th film as a lead and will be made bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam.
Sai Abhyankkar is roped in for several other high production projects in Tamil as well like ‘Benz’, ‘Karuppu’ and also is booked for the upcoming Allu Arjun film, making his name sound and profound in the south indian cinema.
