‘Retro’ OTT Release Date: Here’s where and when to watch Suriya’s recent 

Karthik Subbaraj directed ‘Retro’ starring Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram and many others released in theatres across the world on 1 May 2025. With great anticipation, ‘Retro’ served as a package of action, comedy, romance and holistic entertainment. 

After successfully screening for weeks, ‘Retro’ is all set to make its digital debut on Netflix from 31 May 2025. A 30 day theatrical window, the movie has Santhosh Narayanan as music director who gave raving hits like ‘Kanimaa’ and ‘Kannadi Poove’ even before the theatrical release.

On Monday, the global streaming platform shared a poster of the movie and revealed its OTT release. With a hyping caption, “ A sacred spear. A secret identity. A saga for the ages. 🔥

Watch Retro, out 31 May, on Netflix in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.”

Now fans who have missed the movie on the bigger screens can now stream it on Netflix from 31 May 2025. 

‘Retro’ is produced by Jyothika and Suriya’s 2D Productions and Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films. The movie surpassed 150 Crores and collated over 200 crores in worldwide Box Office collection.
