The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced 12 Hour Water Cut on 18 June 2025, due to an urgent repair work that needs attention. Several parts of the city will be facing the water cut while the repair work is taken care of by the STEM authorities.
The water shut down is announced from 9:00 AM to 9 PM in several parts of Thane on Wednesday.

- Kothari Compound
- Azad Nagar
- Dongripada
- Waghbil
- Anand Nagar
- Kasarvadvali
- Ovala
There are some other areas where the municipal corporation is planning on cutting the water stream on 19 June 2025.

The Thane Municipal Corporation advises people to be prepared and store enough water for the 12 hour water cut in the coming days. Although the announcement was made, it plans to continue water supply through the city in a phased manner. Residents are advised to fill up water for two days, till the regular supply resumes and avoid wastage during the period.
