Tharun Moorthy brought back the epic pair of Mohanlal and Shobana after years in the thrilling family blockbuster ‘Thudarum’. The movie released on 25 April and became a huge success with the public and fans flooding the screens across the world, surging over 100 crores.
‘Thudarum’ will be available in JioHotstar for worldwide streaming and the announcement was done by a social media post that is intended with pun, “ജിയോഹോട്ട്സ്റ്റാറിൽ തുടരും! (Will Continue on JioHotstar!) Thudarum will be streaming from 30 May only on JioHotstar.”
After a successful five week run in the theaters, ‘Thudarum’ gets a digital debut for those who missed the crime thriller on the big screen. The movie surrounds a typical Indian family headed by Shanmugam (Mohanlal) and Lalitha (Shobana). Shanmugam, a former stuntman now a taxi driver who has a classic Ambassador car, which itself is a character in the film.
The movie also has Thomas Matthew, Farhaan Faasil, Binu Pappu, Aarsha Chandini Baiju and others in supporting roles. Tharun Moorthy made a worthy watch for Mohanlal and Shobana fans while Jakes Bejoy gave a elevating composition for the movie.
