This epic personality took his last breath on 26 July 2025 at the age 97. Tom Lehrer was born in the ‘Capital of the World’ in 1928 and entered into the reputed institute of the world, Harvard University at the age of fifteen. He pursued his career as a mathematician earlier, but the hidden musical legend was inspired by the ambience. He then learnt the knack of coagulating the melody and the mockery which has turned Tom as a cultural icon. During his initial growth in the 1950s & 60s as a musician, Tom fearlessly broke the taboo topics like nuclear war, racism, pollution and politics through the lyrics that still resonate the current world’s plight and haunting accuracy.
