Ultraviolette, a new electric vehicle brand has launched the Shockwave, its first dual-purpose electric motorcycle in India. The Shockwave is available at a price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the initial 1,000 customers.
It’s been designed for both urban and off-road riding where the Shockwave blends sleek design with aggressive performance in a versatile package for electric vehicle enthusiasts.
With its light frame and tough features such as a raised handlebar and rally bike-seat, the Shockwave is designed for the adventurer as much as for the efficient.
With an electric motor providing 14 hp and up to 120 kmph of speed the bike guarantees exciting acceleration and refined drive on city routes as much as on tougher surfaces. The bike also has a good range of 165 km on a single charge which makes it a good choice for daily commutes as well as longer trips.
