Bryan Johnson, a former Mormon member and a family man who earned Millions after selling his tech company Braintree has dropped all of the labelling parts of his life to defy death, or at least stop his body from ageing. With the $800 Million he acquired from selling his tech start up, Bryan Johnson is now questioning his choices.
Bryan Johnson, who became famous for his ‘proven’ de-ageing methods that are tested by himself. The CEO spent approximately $2 Million every year for his periodic health checkups, test runs and blood transfer and infusions between him and one of his sons made for major headlines, even booking a NetFlix documentary.
A man who left his wife, his religion and beliefs to outshine the rest of the world and proclaiming ‘the healthiest on the planet’ is now facing several issues with his anti-ageing company, which he mentioned as “a pain in the a**”. How did Bryan Johnson who was adamant in promoting his ‘Don’t die’ ideology went from walking out of an Indian podcast citing lack of air quality to thinking of shutting down his own dream project.
Talking with Wired, Johnson said, “Honestly, I am so close to either shutting it down or selling it,” citing juggling professional ambitions and philosophical beliefs. His age reversal company, Blueprint which is solely invested $25 Million by Johnson himself might face a shutdown, but the reason is not the lack of scope of balance as Johnson says.
Blueprint is reportedly facing heavy financial issues with the company struggling to surpass their break-even point by $1 Million a month. While Johnson denied the reports from The New York Times stating, “It has nothing to do with The New York Times. I am not hiding from the New York Times article. I’m happy to take, head-on, every single allegation they made. I will say (their reporting on) the business, that was f–ing made up.”
Blueprint has been a pain in my ass.

Despite suggesting a shutdown of Blueprint, Johnson stood by his statement saying, “We are break-even, and I’ve said that publicly many times. We’ve had profitable months, we’ve had loss months”.
