One of the biggest Fashion events of the year – The Met Gala is announced to be held in May with an interesting and crisp theme fixed and circulated, it is the guest list that is not yet fully revealed. As the tradition continues, fashion fans and the rest of the world will get to know of the guests on the day of the Gala. But here are some of the expected Indian Celebrities including the biggest star of the country attending his first Met in 2025, the excitement has hit new heights.

Met Gala 2025 Theme
Each year the Metropolitan Museum of Art will decide a unique theme that will resonate the museum’s scope and vision and also set the Dress Code for the guests attending the Gala. The theme will be proposed by Andrew Bolton, the Chief Curator of the Costume Institute of the Met Museum which will be then run through by the Museum’s Director and President and ultimately by the infamous Vogue’s editor- in- chief, Anna Wintour.
The Theme of Met Gala 2025 is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ – inspired by the 2009 Monica L. Miller’s book ‘Slaves of Fashion – Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity’. A classy and crisp theme that will celebrate the timeless art of Black fashion and customised tailoring in the fashion history. The Theme that is circulated for the guests is ‘Tailored For You’ – hoping for guests to be present with tailored personalised fine fashion moments.

Indian Celebrities Expected at the Met Gala 2025
The Met Gala will have some of the popular celebrities from cinema, sports, fashion, business and many fields. This year the expected Indian celebrities from different diaspora and vocations are Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Ali Bhatt, Isha Ambani, Natasha Poonawalla, Mona Patel. Many sources claim and anticipate the ‘Guilty’ actress and the soon- to- be mom Kiara Advani in attendance, her debut in the Met Gala.
Another popular debutant, the King Khan of Indian Cinema, Shah Rukh Khan is anticipated and almost confirmed to be attending the Gala. Shah Rukh Khan is reported by many sources to be wearing Sabyasaachi, a fashion tycoon and visionary designer.
Met Gala Venue and Place
Met Gala 2025 is all set to take place on 5 May 2025 at the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York.
Over 400 guests are set to attend across globally from the likes of actors and actresses like Zendaya, Sabrina Carpenter, Zoe Zaldana, to pop stars Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, ASAP Rocky, Miley Cyrus and models Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and sports stars like Lewis Hamilton are expected to attend this year also.
