AN interesting release by the WWE ahead of the anticipated week of Smackdown as the company makes painful cuts and shortens the pool for the compact set of people. The pool of wrestlers cut off from the roster are now part of the release cycle for this year.
WWE released multiple superstar wrestlers from its roster right before the anticipated Friday Smackdown. Here is the list of wrestlers dropped off by the company and didn’t make the cut for the tight few spots for the global stage.
According to several sources around 10 WWE star wrestlers faced the talent cuts including the main roster cuts of Braun Strowman and Shayna Baszler. This is Strowman’s second release by WWE after being released in June 2021 and signed a deal back in 2022, the run which lasted till May 2025.

Shayna Baszler even though is at the top roster for NXT, her success was not profound enough in NXT to make the cut, as she has not recorded even one title in the main roster.
