Director Ajay Gnanmuthu, known for his directorial titles ‘Demonte Colony’, ‘Cobra’ has revealed a gratitude message to his fans on the 10th anniversary of his entry in Tamil cinema and drops a big update on the fan favorite horror franchise.
‘Demonte Colony 3’ is on the charts after the cast and crew were basking from the success of two films so far, director Ajay Gnanmuthu while thanking fans and his producers for the support, revealed that his team are now working on the third part of the blood chilling ‘Demonte Colony’ franchise.
“Ten years ago, I stepped into the world of cinema with a team of newcomers, wide-eyed and driven purely by passion. Today, on the 10th anniversary of my debut film, I find myself overwhelmed with emotion, with gratitude, and with an enduring love for storytelling”, read Ajay Gnanmuthu’s X post.
After thanking producers M.K Tamilarasan of Mohana Movies, Murali Ramaswamy of Sri Thenandal Films along with actor Arulnithi for their continuous support and helping the young director during his early days, Ajay Gnanmuthu broke the news of a third installment saying, “What makes this anniversary even more special is that Demonte Colony didn’t just stay a memory it became a legacy.”
The first installment Demonte Colony was released in 2015, Ajay Gnanmuthu’s debut which followed with the second movie nearly a decade later in 2024 with Arulnithi leading the bunch. Both the movies set out a unique chilling experience for the fans in the theatres, standing out as a packed horror film.
After posting filming location pictures for Demonte Colony 3 in April 2025, Ajay Gnanmuthu now the director teased the fans with an official news soon also with a threat saying, “The nightmare isn’t over yet…”.
