Param Sundari First Look blends Two States and Chennai Express style Romantic Film

Dinesh Vijan’s north meets south style Romantic drama - ‘Param Sundari’ just revealed its first sneak peek.

After a dry run in the recent years, Hopeless Romantics all over the country are ready to welcome the much anticipated Romantic drama starring Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Param Sundari’. 2025 brings in a fresh pair of Siddharth and Janhvi who are two of the most thriving prospects for romantic roles.

Dinesh Vijan, known for his production hits like ‘Stree 2’, ‘Chhava’ and others is also banking this feature. ‘Param Sundari’ is directed by Tushar Jalota, who is on his second directorial following ‘Dasvi’ (2022). The movie was announced in November 2024 with rumours surfacing about a Rom-Com featuring the ‘Shershaa’ actor and ‘Dhadak’ actress in the lead roles.

‘Param Sundari’ follows the known Bollywood plotline of North meets South where a North Indian guy falls for a South Indian girl, a plot that is seen in movies like ‘2 States’ and ‘Chennai Express’. While the title itself is a culmination of the two titular characters, the movie exudes the same vibes as the usual love track.

Siddharth Malhotra was seen as a carefree man while Janhvi looks ethereal in a traditional saree. The fast cut first look ploughs in elements of both the distinctive worlds, busy roads registered through aerial shots while the Kerala backwaters and coconut trees give us the setting for the film.

The little bit of chemistry registered in the sneak peek  is off the charts as both Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor look sensational together. The music for the movie is handled by Sachin – Jigar and the cinematography is done by Santhanakrishnan. Along with Tushar Jalota, Aarsh Vora has written the screenplay for the movie.

‘Param Sundari’ is all set to be released on 25 July 2025.
