Actor Suriya is giving back to back entertainment updates to his fans from the release of ‘Retro’ to the Title reveal of Suriya 45 on Friday as ‘Karuppu’. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, ‘Karuppu’ is directed by the multi faceted RJ Balaji, who has directed ‘Mookuthi Amman’, ‘Veetla Vishesham’ priorly.
The project has created great anticipation for several reasons like the collaboration between RJ Balaji and Suriya, Suriya acting in a spiritual social satirical film and the sheer range of the cast announced. The first major update regarding the film, the title reveal was made coinciding with director RJ Balaji’s birthday on Friday.
The actor/director took it to his ‘X’ platform, shared a post thanking all the well wishers for his birthday wishes and celebrating ‘Karuppu’ movie update. The post also had another update for the fans as RJ Balaji wrote, “A BIG FEAST is getting ready for a BIG DAY next month”. Actor Suriya’s birthday is the said day and fans are convinced that the trailer of ‘Karuppu’ will be released on 23 July.
Suriya is next signed up for a project with Director Venky Atluri, the director of ‘Lucky Bhaskar’, ‘Sir’. Back to back updates and talks of him collaborating with a Malayalam director as the Vaadivasal project is postponed are rumoured, yet not confirmed.
‘Karuppu’ has Suriya, Trisha, Natarajan. Sshivadha, Yogi Babu, Swastika, Indrans in front of the camera while RJ Balaji is directing and co-writing the screenplay with Ratna Kumar. Cinematography is handled by G.K Vishnu while the Music is scored by Sai Abhyankkar. The release date of the film is expected to be revealed along with the Trailer.
