After nearly a decade, the multi faceted actor SJ Suryah is all set to make a comeback as a Director with his film ‘Killer’. The movie is signed with Sree Gokulam Films, a famous production house in Malayalam and the official announcement was made by SJ Suryah himself through an Instagram post.
‘Killer’ will have the young and talented actress Preethi Asrani in the titular character, revealed by SJ Suryah in the post. The director shared pictures of him with producer Gokulam Gopalan and wrote, “Hi folks , Ur Director S.J.Suryah is bk 🥰🥰🥰 with His Dream project titled, Yah U know it 🔥🔥🔥#KILLER🔥🔥🔥 feeling blessed and happy to collaborate with the most prestigious @sreegokulammoviesofficial Gokulam Gopalan sir 🥰🥰🥰🥰 need Ur love and support as always🥰🥰🥰 love U all 🙏SJS”.
The actor who directed his prior film ‘Isai’ in 2015 has followed up his career as a successful actor taking on some of the most unique roles since. From supporting roles, taking on unconventional leads to antagonists, SJ Suryah has made a sophisticated place for himself as an actor.
During the promotions of Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’, SJ Suryah spoke about returning to direction. He spoke about his dream project titled ‘Killer’ and shared that it will be commencing from early 2025.
Preethi Asrani known for her captivating performance in ‘Ayothi’ is the fresh talent of Tamil Cinema who is roped in for Sathish directorial ‘Kiss’ with Kavin. She is also making her Malayalam debut with Shane Nigam and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj. SJ Suryah is also engaged in several projects including Vignesh Sivan’s ‘Love Insurance Kompany’, PS Mithran’s ‘Sardaar 2’ and more.
