Gaddar Awards 2025: Nivetha Thomas, Nag Ashwin, Allu Arjun and others win big

The Telangana Government awarded their State award for excellence in cinema – The Gaddar Awards on Thursday. Actors Nivetha Thomas, Allu Arjun won the top honors in acting while Nag Ashwin bagged the best director. Shreya Ghoshal gets her honor for best singer, awarded with actress Jayasudha heading the Jury. 

Gaddar Awards were announced after the state became independent from its Telugu speaking neighbor Andhra Pradesh, replacing the Nandi Awards. Here is the complete list of winners for the year.

• Third Best Feature Film – Lucky Bhaskar

• Best Supporting Actor – SJ Suryah (Saripodhaa Sanivaram)

• Best Supporting Actress – Sharanya Pradeep (Ambajipeta Marriage Band)

• Best Music Director – Bheems Ceciroleo (Razakar)

• Best Male Playback Singer – Sid Sriram (Ooru Peru Bhairavakona)

• Best Female Playback Singer – Shreya Ghoshal (Pushpa 2: The Rule)

• Feature Film on National Integration, Communal Harmony & Social Uplift – Committee Kurrollu

• Best Children’s Film – 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu

• Feature Film on Environment, Heritage, History – Razakar

• Best Debut Film Director – Yadhu Vamsi (Committee Kurrollu)

• Best Choreographer – Ganesh Acharya
