Five men, including one who allegedly posed as an IAS officer, were arrested by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) during routine checks at the India–Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district, a case that has drawn attention in Latest News in India. Authorities said cash worth around ₹2.17 lakh, multiple mobile phones, and an electronic device were recovered, and the vehicle was handed over to local police for legal action.The case has sparked chatter because investigators are also checking the group’s suspected plan to visit Nepalese casinos and the reason for carrying the electronic gadget.
