The infamous Cannes Red Carpet rolled out for some of the most talented artists of World Cinema. Starting from 13 May, the Film Festival will screen, conduct panel discussions and attend the award ceremony. Here are some of the Indian Celebrities who attended the Cannes Red Carpet who sparkled among the sea of celebrities.
Anupam Kher
One of the most flexible and reliable actors of Hindi Cinema, Anupam Kher ventured the Cannes carpet, his Debut to screen his directorial movie ‘Tanvi The Great’ that is getting a world premier.
The actor wore a sharp Two-Piece suit with a bright white complementing shirt worn inside with a crisp bow tie.
Nitanshi Goel
Not one but two eye-catching looks from the young ‘Laapata Ladies’ actress Nitanshi Goel made her Cannes Red Carpet look remarkable with a White pre draped saree for her film ‘Dossier 137’. The 17 year old wore Jade by Monica and Karishma (MK) on both her days, but it was a hair accessory that broke the internet.
Nitanshi Goel wore a pearl string that had iconic actresses like Madhubala, Rekha, Sri Devi, Hema Malini, Waheeda Rehman, Vyjayanthimala and Nutan.
Also wearing from Jade by Monica and Karishma, Goel was seen in a Black and Gold Strapless voluminous Gown with an attached train on the back finished with a tulle base. The Gold Kasab Embroidery was paired with a small and minimal gold choker and a slick abc hairdo.
Jacqueline Fernandaz
After delivering two back to back Ivory White ensembles, Jacqueline Fernandaz opted for a classic Red dress for Day 3 of Cannes. Wearing Anamika Khanna for her ‘Women in Cinema’ gala’s initial days by the Red Sea Film Foundation.
Jacqueline Fernandaz opted for a striking Red Corset Gown with Rose detailing and puffy sleeves and a subtle flared floating bottom. She was seen in an uplifted elegant bun and a diamond necklace.
Chhaya Kadam
Yet another ‘Laapata Ladies’ actress, Chhaya Kadam’s debut at Cannes was in 2024 attending the award winning ‘All We Imagine As Light’. The actress posted a picture of herself at the Festival, wearing a Pink ruffle saree with a matching and contrasting colour block in the saree.
She posted about her first experience in the city and her return for the second year, remembering and noting it as an old acquaintance in Marathi.
