After Shah Rukh Khan, Jackie Chan Honored with Locarno’s Career Achievement Award 2025

The Career Achievement Award shall be conferred upon Jackie Chan at the 78th Locarno Film Festival in 2025. The action-infused personality will receive this award based on his worldwide impact in cinema and his incredible legacy in the art of martial filmmaking.

A Legendary actor and martial arts icon, Jackie Chan, is offered with the prestigious Career Achievement Award in the 78th edition of the Locarno Film Festival, which is going to be celebrated from the 6th to the 16th of August in 2025, Switzerland. This follows tribute to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan earlier last year and is thus sending up the festival’s tradition of celebrating the finest cinematic global icons.

Running for over fifty years is Chan, who has created a phenomenal career by revolutionizing the action genre with high-octane stunts combined with comedy and heartfelt storytelling. His works have transcended that of Rush Hour, Police Story, and Drunken Master to be some of the most influential among generations toward the making of their films and for audiences worldwide.
