Hundreds of thousands turned up along Mahal Road, Jagatpura, to catch the final full-dress rehearsal ahead of the 78th Army Day Parade, set for January 15 in Jaipur, in what has become part of the Latest News in India. Official sources said the three public rehearsals on January 9, 11 and 13 together drew over 3 lakh spectators, with Tuesdayโs run-through bringing dense crowds from early morning.
The rehearsal featured crisp marching columns, armoured platforms and newer battlefield systems, alongside older equipment that still draws loud cheers. An Indian Air Force fly-past became the clear crowd-puller, with many people filming short clips for reels and WhatsApp groups. Thatโs how these big public events travel now.
Traffic diversions and seating arrangements were tighter than earlier practice days, and police staff kept lanes moving to avoid bottlenecks. Families, students and veterans were seen arriving in groups, some carrying small flags, some just soaking it in.
