A person will go on a journey through the Himalayas where their devotion meets the exquisite raw nature. Every step towards the holy shrine echoes the chant of Lord Shiva, who is the prime God in Kedarnath.
You can reach that holy place in different modes of travel that are – Aircraft, train, road, trekking and Helicopter. This year 2025, the government has opened the Helicopter ticket booking platform for the people who are interested to travel on that. Here is the method to book for Helicopter travel.

Helicopter Ticket Booking Method
- Initially visit the website ‘https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/’
- Finish the Char Dham Yatra registration.
- Then you go to the official website – https://www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in/
- Sign up using your name, phone number, and email ID.
- If you are new then create your account by giving the details – name, mobile number, email ID, & password.
- And then you need to enter your Char Dham registration number or Group ID for group booking.
- Select your date, preferred helipad, and aviation company.
- Enter the passenger details [maximum 6 per ID; group bookings allowed up to 12].
- You need to verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Now, you can proceed to the payment.
- Download and print your ticket. Carry a valid photo ID for verification.
Helicopter Boarding Places and Price
- Phata to Kedarnath: ₹6,074
- Sersi to Kedarnath: ₹6,072
- Guptkashi to Kedarnath: ₹8,426
The ticket booking for the Helicopter ride will be opened from 7 May 2025 at 12 noon for the journeys from 1 to 30 June 2025.
