Kesari 2 Teaser Out: Akshay Kumar Brings Jallianwala Bagh Tragedy to the Fore

The long serving teaser for ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ has arrived. Akshay Kumar plays the lead role in the film directed by Karan Singh Tyagi which tackles the events that unfolded following the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. 

Instead of the traditional teaser format, this one includes a 30 second audio segment at the beginning that shares the horrors of the massacre through harrowing screams and bone chilling dialogue.

Akshay Kumar plays Sir C Sankaran Nair, the valiant lawyer challenging British rule post massacre and there’s an impactful voiceover in the teaser that states, “Don’t forget that you’re still a slave to the British Empire”. The movie is inspired by ‘The Case That Shook The Empire’ written by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat.
