Mitchell Owen Etched 3rd Debut Half-Century! Who is the First Australian Player To Score 50 in T20?

Australia clinched their first victory in the 1st T20 against West Indies

Australia took the lead in the T20 series against West Indies in their own home land. The trailblazing win was clutched towards them due to the significant contributions that arrived from the two batters Cameron Green and Mitchell Owen. West Indies’ top order smashed the bowling strategy of the Aussies and set the target of 189 at the end of the 20th over.

The short cameos of Marsh, Inglis and Maxwell left the Australian fans to worry but then came the seasoned T20 star Cameron Green and the debut player Mitchell Owen. The fearless batting of Owen garnered his first ever half-century in international T20 cricket. With this he emerged as the third debut Australian to enter into the elite club.
