The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the special stray vacancy round for NEET PG 2024 which will serve as a final chance for candidates to bag a seat. Registration is set to begin today on March 6th 2025, at mcc.nic.in.
This round is in July and is introduced after the NEET PG cut-off percentile was dropped to the 5th percentile to fill the vacant seats which remain unfilled after others of the previous counselling rounds. Those who are eligible will be required to complete the registration, choice-filling and payment processes within the given timeline.Â
Also keep in mind that the seat allotment results will be shared with state counselling authorities, meaning candidates selected in this round cannot participate in any other state special vacancy rounds.
