Yash Dayal booked for POCSO and new charges as legal woes grow for the RCB player

An FIR has been booked in Jaipur on Yash Dayal, accused of raping and black mailing a girl for a period of two years.

RCB pacer Yash Dayal has once again accused of a strong crime, now under the POCSO act after an FIR has been filed accusing him of raping a girl for over 2 years and blackmailing her emotionally, projecting false promises. 

At Jaipur’s Sanganer Police Station, an FIR has been filed accusing the cricket player of allegedly raping a girl after luring her with false promises of a promising cricket career. Dayal invited the girl to a hotel in Sitapura and sexually assaulted her for the first time, and the reason behind the case registered under POCSO is the girl was just 17 years old at the time of assault. 

POCSO which is Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses act has now been booked after Allahabad court sustained Dayal’s arrest after sexual abuse charges filed for exploiting another woman. 

The first FIR filed on Yash Dayal was on 6 July at the Indirapuram Police Station, Ghaziabad under Section 69 (Sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means etc.) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Dayal was also accused of sexually abusing another woman with the false pretense of marriage hopes. 

A bench comprising Justices Siddhartha Varma and Anil Kumar passed the order on Dayal’s petition challenging the FIR while the court asked the state to file a counter affidavit. The court also sent a notice to the complainant to file her counter in the matter.
