Mohit Suri is back with another promising romantic drama titled ‘Saiyaara’ with two young talents Ahaan Panday on his debut and Aneet Padda. Known for his sensational set of romantic films, the filmmaker now brings in an intense drama with these new faces.
‘Saiyaara’ gives a wisp of ‘Aashiqui 2’ also from Mohit Suri, the teaser begins with a soulful inner monologue of Aneet Padda, a girl who just wants someone to rely on, someone who is a ‘guiding star’, or a ‘Saiyaara’ as the debutant, Ahaan Panday is introduced. The young actor looks the part of a depressed or mysterious rockstar with a swaggy introduction riding a bike.
The fans are given glimpses of the leads’ chemistry that looks sizzling, fresh and compatible while both Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda look invested in their roles from the romantic sequences to more heartbreak cuts. The teaser cut looks impressive as Ahaan Panday playing a rockstar while Aneet Padda’s character staying under the wraps.
Produced by Akshaye Widhani, ‘Saiyaara’ has Sankalp Sadanah for story and screenplay. Rohan Shankar is penning the dialogues with Vikas Sivaraman behind the camera. The musically inclined movie has several music composers – Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara, Rishabh Kant, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, Arslan Nizami.
‘Saiyaara’ is launching another Panday family talent and a promising Aneet Padda who was seen in Amazon’s ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, playing Roohi and as Nandini in the 2022 movie ‘Salaam Venky’ directed by Revathi. The movie is all set for release on 18 July 2025.
