The fans were not ready for the comeback of Ranveer Singh in the ‘Dhurandhar’ glimpse as the actor has certainly transformed into an unexpected role. While the rest of the cast looks spectacular with the presence of Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and others, the fans are hooked on one particular debutant.
Sara Arjun was born to Raj Arjun, an actor and his wife Sanya in 2005 and has been acting from the age of 1 and a half, doing commercials. It is through her commercial days that the actress got her first role in a Tamil film, which got her immense critical response as breakout child star.
Sara Arjun who is not a stranger to South Indian cinema and had her wider reach recently with Maniratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ where she played the young Aishwarya Rai in the role of Nandini. The actress started early in acting as a child actress, playing small roles in Tamil films while having her big breakthrough in A.L Vijay’s ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ starring alongside actor Vikram.
She then had a good run with projects in Tamil, Hindi and commercials even getting a critical response for her role in another A.L Vijay film ‘Saivam’ where she played the protagonist shining among a seasoned cast. After a long break she then appeared in ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, where fans saw how grown the child actress is.
The actress is now 20 years old and has booked the role of starring as a pair for Ranveer Singh in ‘Dhurandhar’ and the internet is divided. Ranveer Singh is 40 years old and so the fans and public are questioning the casting couch decision and their significant age gap. While it is known that many pair ups in Indian cinema have been put under controversy before where the age difference is being debated, this too will be debated.
