The much anticipated teaser of ‘Sarzameen’ starring actress Kajol and the multifaceted Prithviraj Sukumaran was released on Monday. Dharma Productions released the teaser that is making waves now with the epic making and the cast.
Fans were given a glimpse into the plot and setting of ‘Sarzameen’ and both Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran look just in place for their roles. An intense movie directed by Kayoze Irani has a unique shade to it with minimal casting revealed as of now. While the teaser was about to wrap, viewers were given a surprise as young Ibrahim Ali Khan was seen playing in a bearded and serious look.
The actor who recently made his debut as a Rom Com charmer has certainly shifted gears towards a much more serious territory. A big film in the making, ‘Sarzameen’ makers have also revealed that the movie will be releasing on 25 July.
Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is seen as a decorated military officer who is having a driven mission fueled by a personal loss while Kajol seems to be playing the role of Prithviraj’s wife and the duo was seen having some emotional moments. Ibrahim who was only shown for a few seconds has a battered appearance, bruised face and kohl eyes creating an assumption of a terrorist, a drastic change from the charming boy from Nadaaniyan.
Director Kayoze Irani, the son of legendary actor Boman Irani has boosted his range as a filmmaker from his last outing as the director of Netflix’s ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’. While the new collaboration looks fabulous from the teaser, the makers are yet to start the promotion for the audience to grab the concept of the film.
