Ajay Devgn as Jassi returns in the Comedy Drama ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Here’s the trailer release that brings in Devgn’s character as the quirky, Punjabi guy, continuing the genre with lukewarm comedy and drama.
Launching the trailer today, Ajay Devgn wrote on his social media account, “Action! Emotions! Confusion ka bhandar. JASSI is back, aur iss baar sab kuch double hain! Trailer Out Now: Link In Bio. Warning: Trailer may cause excessive laughter, confusion, and Sardaar ke side effects! #SardaarIsBack #SOS2 #SonOfSardaar2 in cinemas this 25th of July!”.
The trailer of the film showed clips of Ajay Devgn as Jassi from his previous movie while new characters for the second film are introduced later. The trailer intends on bringing unlimited flair, fun, bedazzled humour and drama while misses at several points. The trailer opens with a question, “Will he survive in Scotland?’ and pulls away to a detached fun sequence of an older woman showing her pole dancing skills after collapsing and Devgn running away from the place.
Later Devgn is seen narrating the story of his army days, only for it to be a Sunny Deol movie. Mrunal Thakur looks beautiful and dashing, playing Devgn’s love interest in the film while the rest of the ensemble Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Ahluwalia, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta are given some hookup punchline that fails to land.
‘Son of Sardaar 2’ releases in the cinemas on 25 July 2025 and will be one of Ajay Devgn’s long list of sequel releases awaiting the coming year.
