BGMI Lite pre-registration has opened in India on August 25, 2026, giving Android users access to KRAFTON’s lighter Battlegrounds Mobile India version. The game is expected to launch by the end of 2026 with an initial download of about 1GB. KRAFTON has also confirmed cross-play with standard BGMI and support for existing player accounts, potentially making the lighter version a practical option for users with lower-spec Android phones.

CarryMinati is joining BGMI as a playable character, bringing a dedicated WOW Map, boss battles, themed cosmetics, voice packs, tokens, and limited-time rewards.
