Prime Video announces the contestant list for ‘The Traitors’ in a trailer released on Friday, 30 May. The show is an Indian adaptation of the acclaimed international thriller show series. Director and Producer Karan Johar will be hosting with 20 contestants from different walks of life participating.
‘The Traitors’ is generating immense buzz among the streaming audience because of the set of contestants with the rules of the game also intriguing them.

Rules of ‘The Traitors’
The game show is set in a huge palace that has 20 contestants and among them are 3 traitors who should eliminate the innocent contestants one by one without getting caught. The Traitors are nominated by the host, Karan Johar.
During the day, the contestants play for a huge prize and during night the traitors work in secrecy and eliminate the innocents. Every game has a round table for the contestants to vote for a suspected traitor to eliminate them. And if the innocents all eliminate the traitors successfully, they can all share the prize amount but if even one traitor survives then they take the whole amount.
‘The Traitors’ Release Date and Prize Amount
The show will have Karan Johar and the 20 contestants commencing from 12 June. New episodes will drop every Thursday at 8 PM. The prize money for the winner(s) is 1 Crore INR.
