Zoom Communications has announced plans to significantly expand its offerings and deepen its commitment to India with two major implementations such as expanded access to its cloud based Zoom Phone service and the rollout of its AI first Zoom Contact Center platform for commercial availability.

Zoom Phone was developed to support hybrid and distributed workforces. It allows organizations to make and receive PSTN calls, giving business customers a unified cloud communications model to replace the traditional PBX experience. Zoom Phone includes advanced AI features like voicemail prioritization, task extraction and post call summaries all included at no additional charge with eligible accounts. Organizations can also acquire numbers via the self-service portal in locations where we do not have live service delivery.
AI-Powered Zoom Contact Center Now Available in India
Zoom also launched its omnichannel Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform for the Indian market. Centered on AI the Zoom Contact Center has the potential to support multiple communications channels such as voice, video, email, messages and virtual agents. Hosted on Zoom’s data centers in India it supports compliance standards for industry sectors such as healthcare, finance and government.
With BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) options and embedded collaboration tools this contemporary offering seeks to improve both customer engagement and operational performance for Indian enterprises. Zoom’s latest expansion marks a significant leap in its pursuit of leadership within India’s enterprise collaboration space.
