Bank Of Baroda & SBI Hiring: How To Apply For 12,150+ Apprentice Posts, Eligibility, Documents, Admit Card, Exam Date, Salary

India’s two big public sector banks have opened a fresh apprentice race. SBI has announced 7,150 apprentice seats, while Bank of Baroda has opened 5,000 more, taking the total to 12,150 posts. Both application windows are live now, and both close on June 8, 2026.

Who Can Apply And Where The Links Are

For SBI, candidates need a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute, and the age band is 20 to 28 years as on April 1, 2026. For Bank of Baroda, the qualification is graduation in any discipline, with an age also fixed at 20 to 28 years as on May 1, 2026. Age relaxation applies to reserved categories under government rules.

SBI candidates must register on NAPS first, then apply through SBI Careers and the IBPS link. Bank of Baroda candidates must register on NATS or NAPS first, then complete the final form through BFSI SSC, as stated in the notice. Salary, Exam Pattern, And What Stands Out

SBI will pay a stipend of ₹15,000 per month for one year. Bank of Baroda will also pay ₹15,000 per month for one year. These are apprenticeship engagements, not permanent jobs.

SBI’s online examination is tentatively scheduled for July 2026. Bank of Baroda has not published a fixed exam date yet and says the test date will be advised separately. Bank of Baroda’s test will be remotely proctored, so candidates can write it from a private location with stable internet and a device camera. Bank of Baroda’s official X handle has already posted about the apprentice drive.

Documents You Should Keep Ready

For Bank of Baroda portal registration, the notice asks for Aadhaar, PAN, email, mobile number, passport photo, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, degree mark sheet or provisional certificate, bank passbook or cheque leaf, and a scanned signature. For SBI, keep a photograph, signature, live photo capture, and a valid ID proof such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter card, or bank passbook with an attested photograph ready for the exam stage.

Admit Card, Fees, And What To Do Today

SBI call letters are expected in June 2026 through the careers and partner websites, and no hard copy will be posted. Bank of Baroda says the exam intimation will be sent by email and through the BFSI SSC login, with no hard-copy letter by post. SBI charges ₹300 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates pay nothing. 

Bank of Baroda charges ₹800 plus GST for General, EWS, and OBC male candidates, ₹600 plus GST for General, EWS, and OBC female or transgender candidates, and ₹200 plus GST for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
