BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 has opened a major window for graduates who want banking exposure without waiting for a full-time bank officer notification. Bank of Baroda has invited online applications for 5,000 apprentice seats under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The online application started on 19 May 2026, and the last date to apply is 8 June 2026 through the official Bank of Baroda career page, NATS, or NAPS portals.
BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Key Dates, Seats And Stipend
The recruitment is for a 12-month on-the-job training programme, not a permanent banking job. Selected apprentices will get a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 during the engagement period and will not receive extra allowances or regular employee benefits.
The vacancy split is spread across 35 States and Union Territories. Gujarat has the highest number of seats at 960, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 764, Maharashtra with 580, Karnataka with 483, and Rajasthan with 412. Candidates can apply for only one State/UT, and they can choose up to three preferred training locations within that State/UT. Final allotment will depend on merit, preference, and seat availability.

Eligibility Rules Graduates Must Check Before Applying
Candidates must be Indian citizens and registered on the NATS and/or NAPS apprenticeship portal before applying. The required qualification is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The age limit is 20 to 28 years as of 1 May 2026, with relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
There is one important filter many candidates miss. Applicants who already completed apprenticeship training with Bank of Baroda or any other establishment are not eligible. Candidates currently pursuing apprenticeship training elsewhere are also not eligible. Those with training or job experience of one year or more after completing the required qualification are also barred from this engagement.
For NATS-registered candidates, the graduation passing date should not be more than four years before the cut-off date, which is 1 May 2026. This makes the drive more useful for recent graduates who want branch-level banking exposure before preparing for clerk, PO, RBI, SSC, insurance, or finance-sector exams.
How To Apply Online For BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Candidates should first complete registration on NATS or NAPS. NATS users need to log in and apply against the advertised vacancies listed for “Bank of Baroda.” NAPS users need to search “Bank of Baroda” under apprenticeship opportunities and apply for the listed opportunity.
After applying through the apprenticeship portal, eligible candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC. That email will invite them to fill the final “Application cum Examination Form,” where they must add personal details, category, PwBD status, training location choices, and fee payment details. The application will be treated as complete only after the fee is paid successfully.
Keep scanned Aadhaar, PAN, passport-size photo, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, degree marksheet or provisional certificate, bank passbook or cheque leaf, and signature ready before starting the form. This saves time because the portals may ask for different file formats and size limits.
Application fees are ₹800 plus GST for General, EWS, and OBC male candidates; ₹600 plus GST for General, EWS, and OBC female/transgender candidates; and ₹200 plus GST for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. Fees are non-refundable.
