October 15 OTT Releases: Enna Vilai, Kappi Squad and More
Three very different stories arrive on Thursday, October 15. One concerns an ordinary fisherman facing a legal battle. Another follows a man whose recovery from a coma brings an unusual ability.
– Enna Vilai – Netflix: Directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, the Tamil social drama stars Karunas as Thavasi Muthu, a Rameswaram fisherman who discovers a gold pendant while collecting coins from the sea. He hands it to the authorities but ends up facing accusations. Nimisha Sajayan plays a prominent role. The film was released theatrically on September 17, 2026.
– It’s a Medical Miracle – ManoramaMAX: Ruben wakes after spending two years in a coma, only to discover that his hearing has become extraordinarily sharp. His search for nurse Susanna leads towards a disturbing mystery. Sangeeth Prathap, Sharaf U Dheen and Akhila Bhargavan star in this Malayalam supernatural comedy thriller.
– Kappi Squad – JioHotstar: Four friends start a café, expecting to build something together. Financial trouble and disagreements soon complicate their plans. The Malayalam comedy-drama features Rinosh George and Joel Joseph.

October 16 OTT Releases: DC, Aasha and Malayalam Thrillers
Friday’s lineup turns towards revenge, investigation and psychological suspense.
DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran, stars Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi. The Tamil romantic action drama follows Devadas, whose involvement in violent confrontations and personal losses changes his life. Revenge becomes central to the story, alongside his troubled relationship with his father.
SonyLIV has scheduled its premiere for October 16, with Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions reported.
Meanwhile, Aasha brings Urvashi, Joju George and Aishwarya Lekshmi together in a Malayalam psychological thriller. After her daughter’s accident, a widowed mother suspects a truck driver and abducts him. Her deteriorating mental state complicates the situation. The film premieres on October 16, as confirmed by the official ZEE5 listing.
Two more Malayalam releases join the Friday schedule. Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam follows an investigation into a missing journalist, while Adinaasam Vellapokkam involves college students caught in trouble with a gangster. They arrive on Sun NXT and Saina Play, respectively.
More Telugu OTT Releases and Where to Watch Them
Telugu audiences have two additional options this week. One is a reality competition; the other follows a romance threatened by family opposition.
– The Traitors Telugu – Prime Video, October 15: Actor Teja Sajja hosts the ten-episode reality series featuring 20 contestants. Secret traitors try to eliminate other players while the remaining participants attempt to identify them. Prime Video’s official listing indicates new episodes every Thursday.
– Kagitham Padavalu – Sun NXT, October 16: Vardhan Gurrala and Krishna Priya star in a Telugu romantic drama about Ram and Godavari, whose relationship faces opposition rooted in village rivalries. MGR Thukaram directs.
For a courtroom drama, Enna Vilai is the obvious starting point. Viewers looking for romance with action have DC, while The Traitors Telugu offers an episodic alternative to films.
