This Middle-East Director is Honored as the’Asian Filmmaker of the Year 2025’

This Iranian filmmaker ‘Jafar Panahi’ is recognized for his profound influence on Asian Cinema and his seamless commitment to present the story of his land to the global audiences. 

This event has been scheduled to take place this 17 September 2025 at the Busan Cinema Centre and this year is remarked as the 30th anniversary of this vibrant festival. Jafar Panahi has set the standard of the Iranian movies that has turned as a precedent for the aspiring filmmakers not only in Iran but also in other regions of the world. Because cinema is a global language that can connect people beyond the borders and differences.
