The trend is strongest in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi and Haryana, where fresh sign-ups have risen after the March push. How To Apply For A Fresh PNG Connection Online
First, check which city gas company serves your area. Delhi users usually apply through IGL, Mumbai users through MGL, many Gujarat and other city users through Adani Total Gas, while other areas may come under GAIL Gas, IOCL, Torrent Gas, MNGL, Think Gas, AG&P or CGD operators.
Visit the official website of your operator and choose “New PNG Connection” or “Residential PNG”. Enter your name, mobile number, email, address, pin code and property details. Some companies may ask for Aadhaar, ownership proof, rent agreement, electricity bill or society NOC. After submission, you receive an application number.
What Happens After Registration
The company checks pipeline availability, schedules a visit, collects deposit or installation charges where applicable, and installs the meter, regulator and kitchen pipeline. Gas supply starts after safety testing.
