India Targets Its Own Space Station By 2035: When Will The First Bharatiya Antariksha Station Module Go Into Orbit?

India is targeting 2028 for the launch of BAS-01, the first module of the planned Bharatiya Antariksh Station. The five-module space station is expected to become operational by 2035, with Gaganyaan and SpaDeX developing key technologies needed for crewed missions, docking and long-duration research in orbit.

ISRO Plans Eight Launch-Vehicle Missions And 12 Satellite Missions This Financial Year: Which Indian Space Missions Are Coming Next?

ISRO is targeting eight launch-vehicle missions and 12 satellite missions during FY 2026-27, with GISAT-1A, the next NavIC satellite and the first uncrewed Gaganyaan flight among the key missions ahead. ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan also said around 8,000 Gaganyaan-related tests have been completed.
